Cynthia is on a bike ride with so many thoughts in her head but can't ignore the beautiful aromas around her. As she pedals, she decides to stop and pick some flowers along the way...bright orange, yellow and purple flowers. She gathers the flowers and dreams of where her life will take her.
She's rendered in a whimsical, slightly surreal style, with my usual exaggerated features and proportions. The background is turquoise with abstract geometric patterns and circles, representing the day-dream in her head while adding depth and intrigue. In this painting I've combined elements of fantasy and reality. I hope it is both engaging and thought-provoking.
