Monica seems smart and put together--perhaps what I'd like to be. In this painting I'm using slight characteristics of modern and surreal art styles, with a focus on exaggeration and abstraction. Her expression is subtle yet enigmatic, inviting viewers to ponder her thoughts and emotions. Monica is one of my favorites, with her black framed glasses and button-up, while the pin-striped pink & green wallpaper make her pop.
